Day 4/8. CUSCO/MOLLEPATA/SORAY: 4th day: after an early breakfast, our transport takes you across the high pampa to Mollepata (2,700m) where we collect our pack animals and start a gentle ascent to Soraypampa (3,750m) and our first campsite.

5th day: hike to SORAY / HUAYRACMACHAY, a four hour ascent of nearly 1,000 metres to Abra Humantay Pass (4,550m). We`ll be walking in the shadow of Mt. Travellers Comments

Food; Clemente is an excellent cook - we loved his meals.

Local guide; although there was a mixed language, it was extremely important that we worked together as a group. The cross culture experience with our guide, cook and arrieros was an important highlight for us, thanks.
